Our Faith Formation Program strives to help your child grow in both knowledge and love of God and deeper awareness of the importance of community and service in the life of a Catholic.

The four pillars of the church: Creed, Liturgy / Sacraments, Christian Morality and Prayer are included in every weekly lesson.

Our in-person faith formation program will utilize the St. Mary Press Discovery Program for 1st-5th grade. Our kindergarten program will utilize Pflaum Gospel Weeklies. 

Classes will be capped at 18 students per classroom.

Welcome to Outcry (Leading Teens Closer to Christ) 2024/2025!! 

*THIS REGISTRATION IS FOR ALL HIGH SCHOOL TEENS*

Outcry is pleased to provide a number of opportunities for involvement, to ALL high school students whether pre or post confirmation! 

• Sunday Life Night starts with attending 5pm mass, dinner for the teens and then a great night of learning and fellowship.  The night concludes at 8PM in the PLC Youth Space

• Thursday Upper Room Bible Study - 6:00-7:30pm This night is designed for Sophomores, Juniors & Seniors that have been Confirmed. We will discuss scripture and how to apply it to our daily lives. (Meet in the Youth Lounge Upstairs in the PLC by the Game Room)

** The below opportunities are available to Confirmed Teens**

Middle School Retreat Leader: Assist with the middle school retreat on October 28th-29th. Applications for this role are due September 16th. 

Confirmation Volunteer: Confirmed students now have the opportunity to assist with Confirmation classes for 10th, 11th and 12th graders attending Confirmation Preparation. Applications for this role are due November 4th.

Teen Leadership Team: This is an opportunity for Confirmed students to offer up their gifts and talents to help Outcry succeed.

Members of the Leadership team will attend a brief Zoom meeting each Wednesday in which they will provide feedback on the program, receive leadership training, and contribute in planning for future Life Nights. Additionally, Leadership Team members will assist at Life Nights with presentations and various other tasks throughout the year as they arise. Applications for Teen Leadership Team are due August 26th.

Outcry is honored to assist the essential work you as parents are doing at home to enrich the lives of your teens and to deepen their relationships with God. Our youth play an ESSENTIAL role in the Church and as such, we do not take the importance of their formation lightly. It is our goal to ignite a burning love for God and His Church in the heart of every teen who steps through our doors.

La Parroquia Católica de Emaús tiene el privilegio de apoyarlo mientras ayuda a su hijo a crecer en el amor y la comprensión de Dios y la riqueza de nuestra fe católica. Por lo tanto, las opciones que ofrecemos para la formación en la fe de su hijo buscan complementar el trabajo esencial que ya está haciendo.

Nuestro Programa de Formación de la Fe se esfuerza por ayudar a su hijo a crecer tanto en el conocimiento y el amor de Dios como en una conciencia más profunda de la importancia de la comunidad y el servicio en la vida de un católico.

La clase se concentra en los 4 pilares de la iglesia:

• El Credo - lo que creemos (historia de la Biblia - Línea de tiempo)
• Oración - cómo nos comunicamos con Dios (oraciones, devociones)
• Sacramentos - cómo celebramos nuestra fe (fundamentos católicos)
• Moralidad cristiana: cómo vivimos nuestra fe (vida cotidiana y servicio)

Para establecer y construir una comunidad, se recomienda la participación de la familia en lo siguiente:

• Se requiere la asistencia de todas las clases
• Asistir a las sesiones de padres
• Asiste a un evento cada mes de Familia y Fe
